Booking conditions

These conditions apply to direct bookings at La Casina (Via Ettore Tagliaferro, 112/A – San Michele Salentino, Italy, CIN IT074014C200034242) made through the website or by contacting us directly. Bookings made on Booking.com or VRBO follow the conditions of the portal.

1. Request and confirmation

• On the website you send a request with no obligation: the price shown is calculated on the chosen dates and guests.
• If the dates are available we reply by email accepting the request: from that moment the dates are reserved for you and you will find the link to pay the deposit.
• The booking is confirmed once the deposit is paid; we send you a confirmation email.

2. Deposit and balance

• Deposit: 30% of the total, to be paid within 48 hours of acceptance through the secure online payment (Stripe: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or, if shown in the email, by bank transfer within the days indicated.
• If the deposit is not received by the deadline, the dates are released and the request lapses, at no cost.
• Balance: the remaining 70%, to be paid 14 days before arrival; we will send you the payment details.
• The tourist tax, where applied by the municipality, is not included in the price and is paid at the property.

3. Cancellation by the guest

• Up to 42 days before arrival: the deposit is refunded.
• Between 42 and 14 days before arrival: the deposit is retained.
• Less than 14 days before arrival, no-show or early departure: no refund of the amount paid.

To cancel, write to [email protected]: the date of your email applies. We recommend considering travel insurance.

4. Cancellation by us

If, due to force majeure, we were unable to host you, we will refund everything you have paid.

5. The stay

• The number of guests may not exceed the number stated in the booking.
• Pets are welcome in compliance with the house rules for pets, accepted when sending the request.
• On arrival, as required by Italian law, we ask for an identity document of all guests.

Your data is processed as described in the privacy policy.
